Originally an economist, Pieter has 25 years of experience in the IT industry in various roles including solution architect, program manager, and people manager. He is a Distinguished IASA Certified IT Architect and was a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional in DevOps. Pieter is passionate about simplifying, lifelong learning, knowledge sharing, making others look cool, and diversity and inclusion. Outside of work, he is a good-weather cyclist, bad-weather guitarist, and all-weather cook.
